Description
Patagonia Classic Retro-X Jacket
Seen here in sage green, this regular fit Classic Retro-X Jacket has a 50% recycled polyester bonded sherpa fleece body and a full 50% recycled HeiQ Fresh Tech durable odor control lining for additional warmth and comfort. The neckline is raised and has a soft inner edge with a contrasting fabric outer which allows the shape to be rolled to suit, or kept raised for protection from the elements. A full zip fastening secures the front and two pockets have been added on either side of the waist, also with zip closures and fabric pulls. On the left side of the chest a contrasting nylon panel highlights a pocket which has a durable water repellent finish. A rectangular woven Patagonia label stitched on top shows the famous Mount Fitz Roy logo design and adds signature branding to the design. For a secure but flexible fit, slim elasticated nylon trims complete either sleeve and the body.
Designed to be worn for an array of outdoor and leisure activities, the Classic Retro-X Jacket from Patagonia is reminiscent of now vintage styles from the brands inception during the 1970’s. Originally a rock climbing hardware company, founder Yvon Chouinard recognised a need for durable, flexible apparel and began designing his own clothing designed on traditional rugby jerseys. Since then, the brand has grown to be one of the most commonly recognised outerwear brands and regularly promotes a sustainable lifestyle with environmental campaigns and new fabric developments.
